What can I say, they had me at 'Special DIY Event'!
I know what you're thinking, Fashion Night Out is supposed to be about 'fashion'. But last year I went to Macy's and found it was too crowded and could barely see any of their displays (not to mention, Tommy Hilfiger was only a couple feet away from me and I couldn't even see him!). So this time around I wanted a night of relaxed craftiness that only Crate & Barrel could offer! Also, I couldn't resist an event sponsored by none other than Marimekko, my favorite Finnish fabric designer! Here's a couple of pictures I took tonight during their DIY fabric necklaces at the Madison Ave Crate & Barrel.
